We started out as House-Wise, a blog dedicated to tips and tricks around the home. When we moved out of the city, we expanded our blog to encompass the life in the middle of nowhere, including our growing brood of rescues and my crafts. We changed our name to Deer Tails, after the herd of twenty deer that lived around our property. In 2017 we decided to start up a business selling my craft products wholesale, along with my growing graphic design art online. The business was called Rambling Boho. We also provided artwork on products to fundraisers for various 501c3 non-profit organizations we were working with and volunteering at, during that time. Now, after another move across the country, we have adopted the name Pond and Pasture as an expression of our new property. Gone are the friendly deer & turkey that I miss dearly, but we have wild ducks, and in the winter, migrating geese in our ponds, and our three rescue horses in our pasture. We closed the business in Colorado, and have been taking a hiatus since, slowly getting back into the crafting world.
An artist all her life, she started selling her products in the early 1990s. Her art has evolved over the years, and has been selling graphic designs online for the last eight years in addition to artisan products at craft shows, marketplaces, and Mom & Pop shops.
